Melvin Cyr
1945-2019
Sunday, July 7th, 2019 at the
Campbellton Village Nursing Home at the age of 73, passed away Mr.
Melvin Cyr, husband of Mrs. Géraldine (borne Maltais) Cyr.
He was the son of the late Rosanne (born St-Clair) and the late
Léonard Cyr.
Besides his wife Géraldine, he will be sadly
missed by his children: Johanne (Everett McGarrigle) of Dieppe, David
(Sylvette Bujold) of Glencoe, Stéphane (Joanne Parker) of
Campbellton and Ken of Malauze; his grandchildren: Karine,
Mélissa, Anabelle, Amy, Justin, Kenny and Rico; his sister
Jeannette (Lucien Levesque) of Malauze also by many members of the
Maltais family, sisters-in-law, brothers -in-law, nieces, nephews and
friends.
He was predeceased by his granddaughter Katia, his parents
and his brothers and sisters: Elie, Donald, Edmond, Edward, Claresy
and Dorilda.
Funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, July
10th at 4 pm in the
Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Cœur Church of Val
d’Amour. Respecting Mr. Melvin Cyr’s
wishes there will be no visitation at the funeral home. A
donation to the Campbellton Village Nursing Home would be greatly
appreciated by the family. The family wishes to thank the Campbellton
Village Nursing Home and its employees for the good service they have
received.
