It is with great sadness that we
announce the sudden passing of our
mother at the Hamilton General
Hospital, with family by her side, on
Sunday, July 7, 2019, at the age of
82. Predeceased by her beloved
husband Manuel. Loving mother of
Joe, late John (Nellie), Elvira Silva
(Paul) and Peter (Nellie). Cherished
grandmother of Samantha, Nicholas,
Nicole, Jonathan, Stephen, Vanessa,
Joshua and Katherine. Maria will be
deeply missed by her siblings,
extended family and friends. She
was known for her sweet bread and
her love of family. Visitation will be
held at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL
CHAPEL, 43Barton Street East on
Tuesday from 2 – 4 p.m. and 5 – 9 p.m.
Vigil prayers at 8 p.m. Funeral Mass will
be offered at St. Lawrence Church
on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at
10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at
Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
