Margaret Mary Crawford, aged 72, died on July 15, 2019, in Edmonton, Alberta.
Mary was born in a small cabin in the Banana Belt, near High Prairie, Alberta.
Mary lived a happy life, filled with many accomplishments, including running multiple marathons, learning guitar, and raising four children. She loved reading Russian novels (she read War and Peace several times), red wine and visiting with and cooking for family and friends. She had incredible strength and tenacity to the end and left this world knowing she lived a good life, one that brought happiness, joy, and comfort to others. She will be remembered for her incredible kindness and giving spirit. Mary will be missed by her children Robert (Rhonda), Alana (Rob), Daniel (Adrien), and Cameron (Amber); her grandchildren Victoria, Nathan, Liam, James and Callum; her brothers Charles, Dave, and Allen, and her extended family.
