Kenneth Leon Cox
1939-2019
Kenneth Leon Cox – Age 80, of Wilmot, formerly
of Canning, Kings County, passed away on July 18, 2019 in Middleton.
Born on April 22, 1939 in Woodside, Kings County, he was a son of the
late Joseph and Charlotte (Jackson) Cox. He is survived by his
companion, Sharon Marsters; sisters, Ruth Bigelow, Phyllis Reade, and
Joyce Parker; brother, Victor (Joan); daughter, Janet Van Nest
(Richard); sons, Chris Cox and Mark Cox; grandchildren, Will and
Cavelle Van Nest; many nieces and nephews; and his dog, Toby. He was
predeceased by sisters, Dorothea, Lucy and Greta;
brothers, Robert, Bernard and Paul. He will be remembered as
a kind and gentle man, a loving father, a hard worker and animal lover
who loved spending time in his garden and being
outdoors. Visitors are invited to join the family for the
graveside service in the Habitant Cemetery, Kings County, on Saturday,
July 20th, 2019 at 2:30 p.m., Reverend Ivan
Norton officiating. Thanks to the doctors and nurses at Soldiers
Memorial Hospital for their caring attention during his final days.
Donations in memory may be made to The Kidney Foundation of Canada.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted
to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services,
Kentville.
