Edward Fulowski, aged 93, passed away peacefully into the arms of his Saviour on Sunday July 7th, 2019. Edward is survived by his loving wife Ferol of 67 years and their three children: David (Carol) Fulowski, Rick (Carol) Fulowski, Cheryl (Lee) Williams. He was predeceased by his infant son. Edward is also survived by many nieces, nephews and step-grandchildren. A special thank you to all those who cared for Edward and sent prayers of love to the family.
Edward was born in Weyburn Saskatchewan November 28, 1925 and was one of eight children. On September 6th, 1951 he married Ferol Curts in Indian Head, Saskatchewan. Edward served 27 years in the Canadian Air Force. He served overseas and across Canada until his retirement to High River Alberta. He worked for the Town of High River for nine years. Edward was an active outdoorsman, passing that love of the wilderness to his three children and grand children. He was renowned for volunteer coaching and his love of working with community kids at the rinks and ball diamonds, both in Whitehorse and Calgary. He had a love of gardening which he shared with Ferol. He belonged to a breakfast club, “The Senator’s”, that he treasured. Edward was never short of stories to tell and family was of great importance to him. He joined the High River Baptist Church and had a strong faith in the Lord.
A memorial service will be held in the High River Baptist Church, 514160 121st Street E (located at the junction of highway 194A Exit- Vulcan and Highway 2) on Tuesday July 16th, 2019 at 2:00 pm.
