Drosdovech, Walter “Wally”
August 7, 1933 — July 23, 2019
Wally Drosdovech, 85 passed away Tuesday July 23rd after a courageous battle with cancer.
Wally worked as a mechanical superintendent at Northwood Pulp and Timber in Prince George for the majority of his career. He retired in 1994 and relocated to Kelowna where he and his wife Blanche made a new home. They both enjoyed gardening and outdoor activities. They were known in the Glenmore neighbourhood as the walking couple. Wally enjoyed making wine and fixing whatever was broken. He will be sadly missed by family.
Wally is survived by his loving wife Blanche, Daughter Dianne Haber, Son Brian Drosdovech (Moira). Grandchildren, Kyle, Justine & Emily, Sister, Leda Mallett (Graham), Brother,Steve Drosdovech (Alison), and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by Parents Steve and Nettie Drosdovech and Brother John Drosdovech.
At the request of Wally, there will not be a service. A celebration of life will be at a later date.
The family would like to thank the Hospice House for their compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice House (Kelowna) or a charity of choice.
