Obituary of Cheryl Anita Wendt
February 4, 1961 – July 18, 2019
It is with heavy hearts we announce that on July 18, 2019, Cheryl Anita Wendt of Grande Prairie, AB formerly Dawson Creek, BC and Soldotna, Alaska, passed away peacefully at the Prairie Lake Hospice in Grande Prairie, AB at the age of 58, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Cheryl is predeceased by her parents; mother, Kathleen Wendt (Juell) and father, Horst Heinrich Wendt and is survived by her two brothers; Bruce Wendt (Holly Wendt), Steven Wendt (Melissa Aucoin-Green), her three children; sons Darren Myers (Andrea Southam) of Grande Prairie, AB. Aaron Myers of Kamloops, BC; daughter Stefanie Wendt (Ted Tufts) of Grande Cache, AB. and 11 grandchildren.
Cheryl was a selfless, kind, beautiful soul who loved to laugh and tell jokes, always bringing a smile to those around her. Cheryl will be deeply missed by many but her life lives on in all of us
