1944 – 2019
The family announces with great sorrow his death on Friday July 5, 2019 at the Timmins and District Hospital at the age of 74 years. Beloved husband of Faith Groulx. Loving father of Raymond Groulx (Lynne), Doug Groulx (Joe), Crystal Charette (Claude) and Tanya Posteraro (Pat). Cherished grandfather of Todd and Ty Charette, Kaitlyn and Emma Groulx and Salvatore and Santino Posteraro. Dear great-grandfather of Liam and Hayden Charette. Hee is also survived by his brother John Groulx (Sylvia) and by his sisters Yvonne (Terry) Meers (Jim) and Rose Normandeau (John). Alcide was predeceased by his parents Arthur Groulx and Delia Duschesne and by his brother George Groulx. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday July 9, 2019 at the Foleyet Town Hall at 2pm. Cremation will follow. The family will receive friends on Monday July 8, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the Foleyet Town Hall.
