With a deep sense of sorrow and loss our family announces the passing of our father Howard K. Irwin on July 5, 2019 at the age of 86.
Howard is survived by his son Darren (Marla) Irwin and Danielle (Paolo) Coco; grandchildren Tamsyn Irwin, Jacqui Irwin, Jesica Coco and Marisa Coco; brothers-in-law, Allan (Marge) Russell, Wayne (Jeannette) Russell; several nieces and nephews and his good friend Tom Brown.
He was predeceased by his parents Edward J. and Angela Irwin, and his wife and soulmate Joan Russell Irwin.
Cremation has taken place, as per Howard’s request there will be no service. There will be a gathering to scatter his cremated remains which will be announced at a later date.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the wonderful staff at the Good Samaritan Society who cared so much for Howard during his time there.
Howard was a strong, quiet, and gentle man, who lived his life working and caring for his family. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman and could build anything. His intelligence was endless as was his love for his wife Joan. They are together again rejoicing in their reunion.
