Obituary of William Thomas Schaefer
At his home in on Monday, June 10, 2019, Bill passed away in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of the late Connie (nee Marr) 2007. Loving father of Robyn Dodge and of Paul Schaefer (Jennifer Amizola). Cherished grandfather of Olivia, Madeline and Samantha. Dear brother-in-law of Katherine Schaefer. Predeceased by his brother Dr. Paul Schaefer. He will be remembered most by his friends as a teacher at Saltfleet High School, a longtime volunteer with the OMHA, and a lover of trains. A memorial visitation will be held at Merritt Funeral Home, 287 Station Street, Smithville at a later date.
