Trevor Maye
1967-2019
Trevor Todd Maye, 51, of Kinnear Settlement,
passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at the Queen
Elizabeth II Health Sciences Centre, Halifax.
Born in Grand Falls, NL he was the son of Marie
(Rice) Maye of Springdale, NL and the late Ralph Maye. Trevor studied
at Dorset Collegiate and for over 30 years he has worked as a diamond
driller and currently was employed with Lantech Drilling. During his
11 years as a foster parent, Trevor enjoyed spending time with his
family and extended foster children. In his leisure time he liked to
listen to music, and read a good Clive Cussler in his hammock while
camping at Murray Corner. He enjoyed the outdoors especially sitting
by a blazing bonfire.
In addition to his mother, Trevor is
survived and sadly missed by his beloved wife, Leeann (Patterson)
their cherished children, Zhana of Brooklyn, New York, USA and Macee
and Dylan of Kinnear Settlement; foster children; two brothers, Corbin
(Lorna) of Roberts Arm, NL and Tracy of Slave Lake, AB; mother-in-law,
Ann Patterson of Intervale; brother-in-law, Gavin Patterson (Hong) of
Vietnam and Greg Patterson (Martha) of Entebbe, Uganda; several Aunts,
Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews; and special canine companions,
Jax and Daisy.
Besides his Father, Trevor was
predeceased by his infant brothers, Kerry and Dwayne and his
father-in-law, Raymond Patterson.
Resting at Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350
Route 106, Salisbury West (372-4800) from where visiting will take
place Monday, June 17, 2019 from 6 – 8 pm. The Funeral Service will be
held at Petitcodiac Baptist Church on Tuesday, June 18 at 11 am with
Pastor David Woodworth officiating.
