The death of Susie Wanda Bryenton of the Mount Saint Joseph Nursing Home and formerly of Boom Road, NB, widow of Jarvis Bryenton , occurred at her residence on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at the age of 87. Born in Campbellton, NB, Susie was the daughter of the late Robert and Mary (Thompson) MacGarvie.
Susie retired from the former Miramichi Hospital as a processing aid. She was a member of St. Stephen’s United Church, Red Bank, NB and also a member of the Islandview Seniors Group.
Susie is survived by one daughter: Julie McKibbon (Bobby) of Boom Road; one son Marshall of Miramichi, NB, one sister: Queenie MacDonald of Miramichi, NB; five grandchildren: Marsha Roy, Martin Bryenton, Phillip (Cherie) Bryenton, Derrick McKibbon and Nancy Thomson (Greg); seven great grandchildren: Cadain, Coltan and Ashlyn Bryenton, Brock, Eva and Wesley Thomson and several nieces and nephews.
Susie is predeceased by her husband Jarvis, parents Robert and May MacGarvie, two sisters: Doris Jardine and Lillian LeBlanc and two brothers: Stanley and Ronald MacGarvie.
Visitation will be held at Meadows Funeral Home on Sunday from 5-9 PM only. The Funeral Service will be held from St. Stephen’s United Church, Red Bank, NB on Monday, June 10, 2019 at 12 Noon with Rev. Geza Szemök. Burial will follow in the St. Stephen’s United Church Cemetery.
