Obituary of Roger Romeo Marin
MARIN, ROGER – The family announces with great sadness Roger has passed away, surrounded by his family and loved ones at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Thursday, June 6th, 2019, at the age of 68. Loving father of Alan Dagenais (Mary) and Roger Marin (Rogina). Sadly missed by grandchildren Brandon Dagenais, Sabrina Marin, Taylor Dagenais, Hailey Marin, Evan Dagenais and predeceased by Bailey Marin. Dear brother of May Robichaud (Louis), Jean-Paul Marin (Nicole), Mona Boisse (Francois), Marcel Marin, Joanne Crowe and Denis Marin. Predeceased by siblings Bertha Pichette (George), Lucien Marin, Armand Marin (Erna), Ernest Marin (Evette) Giselle Marin, Jeannine Levesque (Gerry) and Collette Tanguay (Gerry). Roger is predeceased by his parents Joseph Marin of St. Damase, Quebec and Fernaude Simard of Moonbeam, Ontario. We remember him for his generosity, selflessness and compassion for others. He always gave without expecting anything in return. As he always said, it’s « Goodbye for now ». Relatives and friends will be received at BOCCHINFUSO FUNERAL HOME 2 Regent Street, Thorold on Monday, June 10, 2019 from 7:00 -9:00 PM, and on Tuesday, June 11 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 1:00 PM. If desired, donations in Roger’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
