Richard « Joe » Zajac
It is with heavy hearts we announce Joe’s peaceful, sudden passing with family by his side, at the age of 68. Beloved husband of Linda for 46 years. Loving father of Scott, Julie (Brad), and Jeff. Devoted and proud Grandpa of Zachary and Jesse. Survived by his sister Donna (John), and his mother-in-law Helen. Predeceased by his parents Boleslaw and Eleanor, and his brothers Benjamin and Edward. Also survived by his brothers-in-law Ron (Kate), Kel, Larry (Janis), his sister-in-law Marilyn, nephews & nieces Carolyn (Will), Mike (Nina), Jennifer (Mathias), Ryan (Tanya), Jennifer, Brad (Leanne), Tina (Nick), James, and Lindsey, and many grand nieces and nephews.
He was a member of Windsor South Little League, Windsor Minor Hockey Association, Knights of Columbus Holy Family Council 4386, and a retiree of Ford Motor Company after 35 years of service. In recent years, Joe enjoyed his time on the golf course and spending quality time with his grandchildren, as well as his friends at the Caboto Club.
Visitation on Sunday, June 23, 2019 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. and again on Monday, June 24, 2019 from 10:30 a.m. until a Funeral Service begins at 11:30 a.m. at Families First 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor, 519-969-5841. Entombment at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens to follow.
