Obituary of Marjorie Baxter
BAXTER, Marjorie – Peacefully and with much love around her, Marjorie passed away at Vision Nursing Home early on June 24, 2019. Our « Mumsy » was almost 84 years. She is lovingly remembered by her children Sharon (Mitch Labrosse) and Paul Baxter, grandchildren Rachael Yerlitz (Trevor) and Jeremy Buttrum (Stephanie) and great-grandchildren Ben and Lauren Yerlitz and Emmeth Buttrum. She is now reunited with her wonderful husband Bill Baxter (1991) and her 2 angels at birth David (1960) and Lynne (1960). Marjie lived with Alzheimer’s for the last 5 years at Vision where she was loved and cared for by the most incredible people. She had so much fun, joy and meaning in her life these past years and we thank every one of you at Vision for being in her life. We also thank Dr. Borek and Dr. Pearson for their care. Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, on Friday, June 28, 2019 from 10 – 10:50 a.m. The memorial service will be held immediately following in the McKenzie & Blundy Chapel at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in Lakeview Cemetery. Please no flowers ~ an act of kindness is much more memorable. If desired, donations to Vision Nursing Home « Activity Fund » graciously accepted for the continued social betterment of the lives of her fellow residents there.
