Marjorie’s Obituary
Marjorie Estella Coulter (nee Langille) passed away surrounded by her loving family on Sunday June 9 2019 at the Halifax Infirmary. Born in Tatamagouche December 4th 1931, she was the daughter of Warren G. Langille and Beatrice Anne Miller. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by brothers Ronald Langille of Tatamagouch e, and John Langille of Cornwall Ontario. She is survived by her beloved husband of 69 years John F (Jack) Coulter,her daughter Linda Turner (David) of Barrie Ontario and their children Rosalynd Coulter and Peter Turner (Karen), daughter Susan Coulter of Halifax and her children Joel and Lindsay-Bea Davis, daughter Patricia Murray (Scott) of Halifax and their children Alison (Miles) John, Susan and Margot , and son Michael Coulter. Also surviving are brother Robert Langille (Shirley) of Tatamagouche, sisters –in –law Gladys Langille and Patricia Langille She was also proud to be the great-grandmother of four, and great-great grandmother of three. She was a steadfast partner to her husband in Coulter’s Red & White Food Store, and Coulter’s Funeral & Ambulance Service of Tatamagouche. She was an active member of her community, as a member of Sharon United Church, and UCW, and also a past member of Eastern Star. Upon retirement she spent time travelling the world with her dear husband, finally settling in Halifax. She had many creative talents, watercolour painting in particular, delighting her family with many works to forever cherish. However, her greatest accomplishment and treasure was her family, who adored her in return. She will be forever loved and forever missed. There will be no service or visitation at this time at the request of the family. A Celebration of this Life will be had at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Coulter’s Funeral Home, Tatamagouche.
