Leander had been retired from Brunswick Mining and Smelting in Belledune for the past 17 years. In his earlier years Leander grew up working alongside his father as a fisherman, then moved on to delivery driver for Willet’s Groceries in Campbellton before ending up at the Smelter.
His love of playing guitar and singing was very well known to all who knew him. No gathering was complete without Leander and his guitar. Very little coaxing was needed to have him play.
A graveside service will be held at Our Lady of The Visitation Church, Benjamin River Sunday June 30, 2019 at 2PM. Friends and family are welcome.
Funeral arrangements are in the care of MacMillian’s Funeral Home, Black Point.
