Marie Sluz was born to Peter and Edna Sluz January 5, 1939 in Candiac, Saskatchewan. Throughout the years Marie enjoyed church activities and was actively involved in the music ministry. She loved to play the piano and proudly accompanied her children as they sang in church and at home. She was delighted when they harmonized again in July, 2012 to celebrate her 50th wedding anniversary with John. Marie enjoyed travelling and she spoke fondly of vacations with John, family visits and flying to sunny destinations with her sisters. Her favorite trips included Israel, Hungary, St. Maarten, Aruba and Las Vegas. Marie was a master chef to her family and a talented baker, having decorated numerous wedding and anniversary cakes for loved ones.
