God opened his arms on June and welcomed an angel, Keith Bailey, home to eternal rest. He was welcomed by his Mother Eileen and Father Ira and Brother John. Left to celebrate his life, Wife Carol (nee Field); stepdaughters Carol (Chris) Charland, Ottawa, and Barbara Sutton, Ottawa); three beautiful grandchildren Sawyer Charland, Lucy Charland and Carter Sutton. Also mourning is sister Maura Beam; niece Christina Beam (Brannon); two beautiful great Nephews Joseph and Joey Brannon, USA. The wonderful people who have cared for Keith over the Months, Erin and Ronnie Sonley, whom Keith adored; Erin Martin for her kindness and game shows; Chris Power for his years of caring for Keith. Keith also leaves his Coast Guard family as well as the Boy Scouts, that he was so involved in and The Knights of Columbus, where Keith was a 4th degree. Keith had a lot of friends whom he cherished; Dianne Martin who was always here for us, Keith’s little friend Marcus Simmons, for a young man who respected Keith beyond words; Florence Simmons for ger dogs visits; Joey Janson and Tom and Wendy Clarke, his lifelong buddy. Keith’s fur babies, Buddy and Buzzy, who comforted him daily. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Tuesday June 11 from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday June 12 from 10-9 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will take place on Thursday June 13 at 9:30 a.m. from St. Theresa’s Catholic Church with cremation to follow. Flower’s gratefully accepted or donations in Keith’s memory may be made to Alzheimer Society or C.N.I.B.
