It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jeremie Mercier. Beloved husband and best friend of Sandy Lee. Cherished father of Clint Mercier (Loriann), Sam Mercier, Richard Mercier, Terri-Lynn Glazebrook, Paul Cotter, Brenda Cotter (Jeff). Loving grandfather to Josiah, Trinity, Jaime-Lynn (Travis), Brandin (Brianna), Justin (Krystal), Darian. Predeceased by granddaughter Shayna. He will be missed by two great grandchildren Titan and Oakland. He will also be missed by his brother Reno Mercier (Doris – deceased). Predeceased by sister Paulette (Roger – surviving). He will be fondly remembered by many nieces & nephews, extended families as Poppa, Grampa Jerry, Uncle Jerry and Jer.
One of Jerry’s favourite passions was spending time with his family and the sunshine. Jerry brought so much sunshine into our lives. Jerry enjoyed camping, fishing in Diver and was a real conversationalist, always willing to listen or tell a story. Jerry will also be remembered by many friends from the Ram’s Head in Callander where he was employed for 29 years. Close to his heart was his best friend Lucky.
A visitation will be held at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES, 362 Airport Rd, on Saturday June 8th, 2019 from 11 am until 1pm. A celebration of his life will follow at 1pm at the funeral home.
At the family’s request donations in memory of Jerry can be made to the North Bay Humane Society as Jerry had a great fondness to all animals.
