Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday, June 1st, 2019 at Health Sciences North.
Beloved wife of Lester Eyre predeceased in 1987. Loving and devoted mother of Lillian Eyre (David McKnight), Cynthia Eyre (Larry Gatsos), Derrick Eyre (Miriam), Cheryl Eyre (Andy Zubilewich), Patricia Eyre (Bon Ramat), Robert predeceased & Susan Eyre (Claudio Russo). Cherished grandma of Shelby, Joshua, Jordan, Nicholas and Kyann. Predeceased by her parents Jean & Edna Lahaie (nee Dumoulin) and brother John (Shelley) and survived siblings Donald (Angèle), Aurel (Janice), Lucy (Wayne predeceased) and Susan (Frank). Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, family & friends. Jackie was a loving, mothering presence to all who knew and loved her. As she sang to us shortly before she passed “All you need is love”.
The family would like to express a warm and heartfelt thank you to the staff, nurses and doctors at Health Sciences North – Rehabilitation Unit and 5th Floor South Tower for their excellent care and compassion.

at Christ the King Church

Friday, June 7th, 2019 at 9 am with a reception to follow. Details for the reception will be announced after the mass. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Health Sciences North Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
