1937-2019
Bathurst- Irene Beatrice O’Hearn, 81 years and 9 months, passed away on Friday April 26th 2019 at the Foyer Notre-Dame-De-Lourdes in Bathurst. She was formerly from Pokeshaw. Born on July 2nd, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Joseph O’Hearn and the late Elvira Henry.
She is survived by her brothers: Lawrence from Bathurst and Clarence (Glena) from Pokeshaw; her sisters: Marion (Vincent) from Bathurst, Rita MacMillan (Paul) and May Chowzen (Jerry) both from Ontario and by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers: Robert, Donald and Manford, as well as by her sisters: Frances, Annie, Dorothy, Stella, Effie and Alice.
The family will receive relatives and friends at LeGresley’s Funeral Home in Grande-Anse (322 Rue Acadie) on Tuesday April 30th from 7 pm to 9 pm and Wednesday May 1st from 12 pm until time of Funeral. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday May 1st at 2 pm at the St-Simon and St-Jude Church in Grande-Anse.
Funeral arrangements are in the care of Services Funéraires Luc André Benoit inc.
