Hazel Dionne (Romain)
The family announces with sorrow her passing on Sunday, June 2, 2019, at the age of 82.
Predeceased by her husband Roger (1990).
Loving mother of Richard Dionne (Diane) of Timmins and Donald Dionne (Julie) of Vernon, BC.
Dear sister of Marion Lavallee (late Ron) of Niagara Falls.
She will be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents Alfred and Marion Romain, by her sisters Beryl, Frieda and Georgette.
Hazel was well known as an avid bowler and bowling coach. She also enjoyed playing bingo.
The family would like to thank Dr. Cohen, the Golden Manor staff (West 2) and the Medical staff at Timmins and District Hospital (Medical A and B).
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at 2 pm in the funeral home chapel.
Interment will follow at the Timmins Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 5 from 12pm-2pm at
Lessard-Stephens Funeral Home (705) 268-4488.
Donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation will be greatly appreciated.
