Glen Hore
August 11, 1937 – June 26, 2019
Mr. Glen Hore of Hinton, AB, passed away peacefully following a courageous battle with cancer on June 26, 2019 at the age of 81 years.
He was a proud father, grandfather and great-grandfather. As a 50 year Hinton resident, he was naturally a lover of the mountains and outdoor life this area had to offer. Golf was a passion in his retirement years and Glen managed to get a Hole-in-One at the Hinton Golf Course (with witnesses).
Glen will be missed by family and friends but leaves everyone with many fond memories.
He will be lovingly remembered by his children Bruce (Diane) Hore and Gary (Jackie) Hore; grandchildren Bryan (Sarah) Hore, Dean Hore, Chad Hore, Kyle Hore and Tyler Hore; great-grandchildren Liam Hore and Ella Hore; as well as sister Gertrude Cullen.
Glen was predeceased by his wife of 52 years Mildred; his parents William and Margaret Hore; siblings Murray (Isabelle) Hore, Lorne (Jean) Hore, Les Hore and Ronald Hore.
An Open House in Celebration of Glen’s Life will be held from 1:00pm – 4:00pm on Friday, July 5, 2019 at the Hinton Royal Canadian Legion, 250 Pembina Avenue, Hinton, AB. Drop in to reminisce and celebrate Glen’s Life with family and friends. Refreshments and sandwiches provided.
