Obituary of Beatrice Evelyn Tucker
TUCKER: Beatrice Evelyn (nee Johnston)
Passed away peacefully at Hospice Peterborough on Monday June 10, 2019 in her 86th year. Beloved wife of Gerald Tucker. Loving mother of Dale Tucker (Christine), Geraldine Manning (Bruce) and Wally Tucker, all of Apsley and the late Duane Tucker (d. 1980). Nanny will always have a special place in the hearts of her grandchildren Leslie Tucker, Logan Tucker, Chad Tucker (Sarah), Byron Tucker, Aaron Manning, Dylan Manning, Teal Tucker, Kali Tucker, Jake Tucker and Christopher Kellar. Nanny will also be missed by her great grandchildren. Dear sister of Floris Wilson (the late Jim) of Lindsay, Vera McMillan (Roy) of Guelph, Morley Johnston of Buckhorn and Jack Johnston (Doris) of Paudash Lake. Dear sister-in-law of Gail Johnston, Marie Watson (the late Keith) and Rose Tucker (the late Wayne). Aunt Beat is survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Jack Johnston and Gladys Currie, siblings Bessie Anderson (Bill), Eleanor Lane (Doug), Audrey Leether and Bill Johnston. Also predeceased by Jean Tanner (Victor), Alice Harvey (Earl) and Elmer Johnston. A funeral service will be held at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 Queen Street, Lakefield, on Monday June 17, 2019 at 1:00 PM. Visitation two hours prior to the service. A reception will follow in the Heritage Room of the funeral home.
