January 19, 1944 – June 22, 2019
Allan passed away peacefully in the Vernon Jubilee Hospital. Allan was a cowboy, golfer, and avid fisherman. He loved the outdoors and spent many years working for Alberta Parks in Sheep River Provincial Park training horses, maintaining trails and building back country cabins. He was handy with his hands doing carpentry and leatherwork. He loved spending time in the mountains on horseback, camping and hunting. He was an active member of the Turner Valley Golf Club, and the Okotoks Curling club for many years.
Allan is survived by his son, David McLean (Jude), his daughter Lita Richards, his sister Gail Cheetham and brother John McLean (Francine).
He was a man of few words but had a big heart and was always willing to lend a hand. His ashes will be returned to the mountains he loved. Remember the good times as this cowboy takes his final ride into the sunset.
Nos plus sincères sympathies à la famille et aux amis de Allan Rupert McLean June 22nd 2019..
