Passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2019 at his residence in Elmvale, in his 66th year. Loving husband of Andrea Bowden. Brother of two sisters, Cathy and Judy, and one brother Glenn. Father of Jeff, Kelly, Carrie and Brianna. Grandfather of thirteen grandchildren and Great Grandfather of three.
Before moving to Canada in 1998, Victor grew up in Winslow, Arizona and lived in the greater Phoenix area after serving his country in the US Army. He loved his adopted country and loved his community of Elmvale. For Victor, Elmvale was home. The citizens of this little village are above all the most supportive community one could ever wish for. As a Chef, Victor loved to cook for any occasion; and had a passion for preparing interesting creations, and attempting international cuisines. Victor was also an avid rider, living to be at the barn with his loving horse, Mr. Everest.
We, the Family, would like to thank our Elmvale neighbors for all their support and compassion through his illness; To El Rancho for accommodating Victor to see his Everest; to the RVH Emerge doctors and staff at the RVH cancer center; Doctor’s and staff at Princess Margaret; and to the Bayshore Hospice Nurses, PSW’s and Staff delivering supplies at all hours of the night. And to Tonya, the nurse that was with Victor in his later days. Thank you, Tonya, again for supporting Victor and our family. You truly are an amazing gift.
