Sandy Serpa Cooper
1981-2019
Sandy passed away May,
10, 2019, in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her friends and
family, on her own terms. She fought a long battle with
cancer, that never lacked grace, courage, beauty or love. She was
almost 38 years old.
Sandy was the beloved
wife and partner of Garry Cooper, for 20 years. She was the
most devoted Mommy to Jack, who will miss her deeply. She
leaves behind her parents Connie and Francisco, brother Robert, sister
Regina, in laws Garry and Beth, sister in law Brianne, and many
nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Sandy was
always giving of her time and skills, regardless of her
health. She devoted herself to her family. She
gave tirelessly to many philanthropic efforts through fundraising for
charities or at Parent Council at Jack’s school. Sandy was
always involved in organizing a get together or fun for the kids, in
her neighbourhood, that is less without her. She was a
skilled brow and lash artist, giving incredible confidence to the
clients she served. She had a keen and unique sense of
fashion, and always displayed her personality in a way that was
authentic.
As per Sandy’s wishes,
you are invited for a time of visitation and fellowship at the
LOGAN FUNERAL HOME, 371 Dundas St., on
Saturday, May 18, 2019, from 2-6 pm. Those who wish to make
a memorial donation in Sandy’s name are asked to consider the London
Regional Cancer Program, or Jack’s RESP. Online condolences
can be expressed at www.loganfh.ca
A tree will be planted by the staff of the Logan Funeral Home as a
living memorial to Sandy.
