Rodney was born in St. Lawrence, NL to Herbert and
Therese Slaney, the youngest boy of eight children. Rodney
was known for his great sense of humor and love of his
family. He was a storyteller and loved a great laugh with
friends and family. He was a dedicated worker with Armour
Transportation for 20 years. He was a devoted husband to his
wife Barbara, of whom he adored, a proud father to his son David, and
a fabulous Poppy to his grandson, David and granddaughter,
Skyler. Rodney had a heart of gold. He was a kind,
gentle man who loved life and family. He was in his glee
when he was on his back deck barbequing for family gatherings and
sharing his love of watching concerts from his prize collection.
Nos plus sincères sympathies à la famille et aux amis de RODNEY SLANEY 19652019..
