Obituary of Norman « Norm » Robert Evans
Passed away peacefully at Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay, on Monday May 20, 2019. Norm, of Fenelon Falls, originally from Curling, Newfoundland in his 72nd year. Beloved husband of Brenda (nee Brake) for 50 years, loving father of Norma White (Johnny), dear Poppi of Cody, Colin, Carter and Angelina. Survived by his brothers Wayne (Joyce) and Tony (Mary), aunt Josephine McCarthy, uncle Doug Martin (Bev), and many brothers and sisters in law, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Joseph Evans and Ida Mae Bowder (Frank), brothers Ralph and Fred, and sister Daisy Mae. Norm was a proud and devoted member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Lindsay, Ontario. Many life long friends will fondly remember him. A funeral service will be held at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, MONK CHAPEL, 6 Helen St. Bobcaygeon, on Friday May 24, 2019 at 2:00 PM with visitation to commence at 12:00 PM and a Moose Lodge Service at 1:45 PM. Reception to follow in the Fellowship Room of the funeral home.
