La célébration de
Nicholas Kereluk
KERELUK, Nicholas
Peacefully, on May 2, 2019, in his 95th year, Nick left us to be reunited with the love of his life, Clara (2010). He is survived by his beloved daughter Arleen and her husband Doug, brother Alex and his wife Mary, and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his sister Mary and her husband Nick Gordon.
Nick started his work at the Otis Fensom during the war. Thereafter he worked as a machinist at Westinghouse and the Brewer’s Retail. He was the Vice President of the Hamilton and District Cribbage League for many years, a five-pin bowler for Westinghouse and an avid golfer, with a hole-in-one to his credit at Chedoke. He and Clara travelled extensively, wintered in Florida for over 30 years, and cruised many of those years. He was an avid walker, loved to garden and was a diehard Tiger Cats fan. He was a humble man who endeared himself to all that he met throughout his life. His passion for life was surpassed only by his great love for his family and close friends.
Thank you to the wonderful staff on Garland Terrace at St. Peter’s and Becky and Pam for their caring and compassion.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Nick’s Life will be held at a later date.
