Obituary of Leonard Roy Lawrence
LAWRENCE, Leonard Roy surrounded by family at Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound early Tuesday morning May 28, 2019. Leonard Lawrence of Owen Sound and formerly of Shallow Lake in his 94th year. Beloved wife of Rena (nee West) for 72 years. Cherished father of Dayle and his wife Tiny of Balmy Beach, Vernon and his wife Jane of Kemble, Paul and his wife Barbara of Sauble Beach, Sheldon and his wife Barbara of Shallow Lake, Angela Hurst and her husband Tony of Shallow Lake and daughter-in-law Merilyn Noble and her husband Murray of Shallow Lake. Lovingly remembered by his 15 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 2 great- great grandchildren. Predeceased by son Larry, parents Mary (nee Gates) and Roy Lawrence, brother George (Marjorie) and sister Eunice Craig. The funeral service will be conducted from the Hepworth Baptist Church on Friday at 1:00p.m. Pastor Jamie Simkins officiating. Interment Zion Cemetery, Hepworth. Arrangements entrusted to the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME, Hepworth. Expressions of remembrance to the Hepworth Baptist Church or the Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
