With great sadness, our family announces the sudden passing of our dear Son, Brother and Uncle, John Kevin O’Rourke.
He was born in Invermere, BC and passed away with family at his side on May 23, 2019 at the Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital.
He is predeceased by his dad, Kevin O’Rourke and his brother Brian Charles O’Rourke.
John is survived by his mom, Eva, his sisters Debbie (Lawrence) and Connie (Leonard) and several nieces and nephews.
Johns home and heart was always in the Beaver Valley no matter where life took him. John was always there for his family and his friends and will be missed beyond measure.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Ksiazek, Dr. Dryden and the amazing staff at the Trail regional hospital for their hard work, compassion and care our family received in such a difficult time.
A Graveside Celebration of John’s life will take place at the Fruitvale Memorial Cemetery on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 1:00pm with reception immediately following the graveside service at his home @ 1048 Christie Rd in Montrose. Gwen Ziprick of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements. You are invited to leave a personal message of condolence.
