James P. MacLean
1936-2019
On May 10,
2019, James P. MacLean of Brudenell, age 82 (1936-2019), passed
peacefully away at the Dr. John Gillis Memorial Lodge. He was
predeceased by his wife Verna (nee MacLaren). Left to mourn are
daughter Sharon (Saint John, N.B.) and son Gordon (Silvie) and
grandchildren Samantha and Emily (London, Ont.). Also survived by
remaining sister Irene (Ed Huskins) N.S., sisters-in-law Margaret
Lamont and Sybil MacLean (P.E.I.) Joyce Hardy (Ont.) and numerous
nieces and nephews. James was also predeceased by brothers Don, Chester,
Sandy, Ralph, George and sisters Eleanor MacDonald, Margaret
Nicholson, Ruth Bowley and Catherine Henrik.The family would like to thank
the Dr. John Gillis Memorial Lodge for the wonderful care provided
over the past 7 years. Special thanks go also to Eleanor Shaw, family
friend.
Resting at
Ferguson Logan Funeral Home, 40 Woods Islands Hill, Montague, a wake
will be held Tuesday, May 14th between the hours of 6 to 8
pm. The funeral service will take place in the Funeral Home Chapel on
Wednesday, May 15th, at 10:00 am, followed by interment in the
Brudenell Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations to the Dr. John
Gillis Memorial Lodge or Brudenell Cemetery would be appreciated.
