Irene Langlais
1933-2019
It is with great sadness the family of
Irene Langlais, wife of the late Clifford Langlais, formerly of Maple
St, Bathurst, announce her passing on Sunday May 19, 2019 at the Foyer
Notre Dame de Lourdes, with family at her side. She was 85
years old.
Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter
of the late Leon and Celine (Gagnon)
Thibodeau.
She is survived
by three daughters: Odette Savoie (David), Denise Vienneau
(late Frank) and Susan Langlais (Vern St-Coeur) all of
Bathurst.
Three sons: Michel (Maureen),
Robert
(Julie) and Andre all of Bathurst.
Twelve
grandchildren: Vicki, Daniel, Shawn, Corey, Amy, Kelsey,
Tyler, Sophie, Makayla, Wesley, Chelsie and Stacy. Eleven
great-grandchildren.
Brothers: Kenneth Thibodeau
(Diane) and Alan Thibodeau (Annette) both of
Bathurst,
Sisters: Elvira Lavigne (Clarence), Carole
O’Neil (Daniel) and Doreen Black (Byard) all of
Bathurst.
One brother-in-law, Lionel Roy of
Nigadoo and one sister-in-law, Shirley Thibodeau of
Bathurst.
Several nieces and
nephews.
She was
pre-deceased by brothers: Lloyd and Patrick, four
sisters: Thelma Babin, Lillian Grey, Barbara Roy
and Anne Marie
Lanagan.
There will be no
visitation at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be
celebrated on Thursday May 23rd, 2019 at 2 p.m.

The family would like to thank the staff
at the Foyer Notre Dames de Lourdes for their excellent caring and
loving services that was given to their mother during her
time of need.

to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of the donor’s
choice.
