Born in Chihuahua Mexico, May 5, 1941 to the late Jacob Enns and Catharina (Wieler). Passed away peacefully with family by her side May 13, 2019 at Windsor Regional Hospital Ouellette Campus. Loving mother of 7 children. Late Kathy Parkinson (Gary), Mary Gagnon (Marcel), Elisabeth Kroeker, Ann Phelps (Dan), Jake Kroeker (Anna), Peter Kroeker (Soon) and Jon Kroeker. Helen will be greatly missed by 16 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren plus 2 on the way. Helen was the 6th of 9 children. Late Katherina Fehr (John), late Frank Enns (Anna), Susan Peters (Peter), late Anna Sawatsky (Jake), Mary Groening (Peter), Lisa Froese (John), and Jake Enns (Mary). Also many nieces and nephews. Helen devoted her life to raising her children well, working on farms or greenhouses and babysitting grandkids. She was known by many as a great cook and baker. Visiting at the Reid Funeral Home and Reception Centre, 14 Russell St., Leamington (519-326-2631) Saturday, May 18, 2019 from 10 am until time of funeral service to celebrate Helena’s life at 11 am. The family is asking that those wishing to make a contribution in Helen’s memory to donate to the Southwestern Ontario Gleaners.
