Obituary for Gunner Anderson
Gunner Anderson of Invermere, BC passed away on May 20, 2019. He was born on August 23, 1941 in Elk Point, Alberta.
Gunner was a kind, gentle man with a keen sense of humour, and had a deep love for God. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. He spent days out on the golf course and enjoyed meeting new people. He had a tool or gadget for anything that needed fixing and was always there to help get the job done.
Gunner was a loving husband, father and grandfather and enjoyed spending as much time with them as he could. He is survived by his wife Marion of 53 years, his son Todd (Wendy), his daughter Janice (Richard) and grandchildren (Kesia, Ela, Joshua and Jeremy).
Gunner was one of 6 children and is survived by siblings Elsie (Bill), Carole, Merlin (Mary), and Irene (Paul). He was predeceased by his parents Roy and Myrtle, his brother Lester, and brother-in-law Joe.
A celebration of life will be held on June 15, 2019 at 10:30 am at the Lake Windermere Alliance Church. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Gunner’s memory to Focus on the Family Ministries.
