Fannie’s Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that the families of Fannie Elizabeth Saunders nee Osmond announce her passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, in Corner Brook, NL, on Sunday, May 19th, 2019 at the age of 85 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children; Winnie Saunders, Barbara Saunders, John (Patricia) Saunders, Eric (Glenda) Saunders, Adam (Cindy) Saunders, Edgar Saunders, Vickie Saunders, Nancy (John) Goss, Penny (Roy) Quigley, and Patsy Saunders (Eldred), her 26 grandchildren, 56 great grandchildren, 62 great great grandchildren, her siblings; Albert (Edna) Osmond, Stewart (Betty) Osmond, and Margaret Osmond, and special friend Mary Sutherland. Fannie was predeceased by her husband; Ernest Saunders, parents; Elizabeth and Azerius Osmond, her son; George Saunders, granddaughter; Lori Saunders, grandsons; Travis Sutherland, and Darrill Osmond, siblings; Rebecca Ralph, Martha Pynn, and Edgar Osmond, son-in-law; Barry Osmond. Also leaving to mourn a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, extended family and friends
The family will be receiving family and friends at Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel, 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, NL, on Tuesday, May 21st, 2019 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
The Funeral service will take place on Wednesday, May 22nd, 2019 at 2:00 pm at the Salvation Army Church on Church Street, Deer Lake, with Major Frederick and Louise Pond officiating with the burial to follow at the family plot of the Deer Lake Interdenominational Cemetery on Wight’s Road, Deer Lake, NL.
As expression of Sympathy in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Janeway, in Fannie’s memory would be gratefully appreciated by the family
