LeClair (Kelly) Helen “Toot”
With deep sadness we announce the passing of Helen “Toot” LeClair, 96 of Reserve Mines, on Saturday May 25th,2019. Helen passed away peacefully at Dartmouth General Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Edward and Christina (Nicholson) Kelly. She is survived by her daughter Patricia (Gerard) Burke, grandchildren Kimberley (Keith) Deveau, Debra (Cole) Hawes and great grandchildren Kiley, Maddox, Burke
and Ryder. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family and was predeceased by her husband Wilmot LeClair. Toot was a member of Saint Joseph’s Parish Reserve Mines the CWL, the Reserve and Gardiner Mines Pensioner’s clubs, where she enjoyed her Saturday night dances and weekly card games. Toot worked for over thirty years for her life at the Sydney Airport where she was also manager of Cara Operations. The family is beyond grateful to the staff of Oceanview for their kindness and care given to Toot over the past year and Dartmouth General for their warmth and compassion. In keeping with “Toot’s” wishes
a private graveside service will take place at a later date.
