Death Notice
HENRY, Doug – With family by his side at University Hospital on Tuesday, May 21, 2019, Lawrence Douglas Henry of London and formerly of Toronto, age 79. Beloved husband of the late Carolyn. Loving father of Suzanne Miholics and her husband Gord and Vanessa and her husband Chad. Son of the late Lawrence ‘Pat” and Jean Henry.
After graduating from Western, Doug worked at London Life. He went on to become a successful business owner. Both Doug and Carolyn loved dogs, theatre, and travel. He also enjoyed card games, gardening and fine dining.
A memorial service will be conducted at Harris Funeral Home, 220 St. James St. at Richmond, on Friday, May 24 at 1 pm, with visitation preceding from 12 noon to 1 pm. Reception to follow. Memorial contributions to London Health Sciences Foundation (for Multiple Myeloma Research) would be appreciated.
