Clement Tremblay
It is with great sadness that the family of Clement Tremblay of Fenton Street announce his passing which occurred on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at the age of 81.
Born in Grosses Roches Québec on February 17, 1938 he was the son of the late Jean-Baptiste and Irene Tremblay.
Clement was a miner and employed with Iron Ore Company of Canada in Labrador City until his retirement in 1992.
Clement was a dedicated family man who loved helping his family with anything they needed.
He enjoyed fishing with his granddaughter Monica and golfing the Saint Margaret’s and Miramichi golf courses with his son James.
He was an animal lover and a jack of all trades who loved tackling any type of renovation project.
Clement is survived by his daughter Danny Tremblay (Benoit LeLievre) of Saint-Alexis, Quebec and his son James Tremblay (Kathy MacDonald) of Miramichi, NB.
As well as his four grandchildren Chanel Burford, Laetitia Arsenault, Nicholas and Monica Tremblay and their mother Juanita Tremblay.
He is also survived by three sisters Gloriane, Celine and Denise and four brothers Andre, Prospere, Rosaire and Valaire.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his former wife the late Marie-Laure Tremblay as well as three brothers Charles, Gaston and Eloi.
A private family celebration of life will be held in Saint Alexis Québec in June.
As an expression of sympathy a donation may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
