We regret to announce the passing of our Dad, Carl Morgan, age 80, on Sunday, May 19, 2019, at the Northside General Hospital.
Born in Sydney Mines on May 7, 1939, he was the son of the late Carroll and Helen (Donovan) Morgan.
Carl loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was known as “Mr. Fixit”. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Carl is survived by his companion and best friend, Lillian Whalen, and his two sons, Carl (Barb) and Greg (Trish). He also leaves behind his four grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren, sisters Jean (Bob) McGean, and Yvonne (Douglas) Serroul, several nieces and nephews, especially Sarah and Pat, who were always there in his time of need.
Besides his parents, Carl was predeceased by his brothers Wallace,Clarence and Joseph, and sisters Blanche, Eileen, Eunice and Mildred.
The family would like to thank Christina Parks for all her help, and Dr. Kohlsmith, Dr. Khodadad, and the staff of 5th floor, Northside General, and at the Cancer Center for all of the care given to Carl. Donations in his memory may be made to the Cancer Canter.
Visitation for Carl Morgan will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2019, from 7-9 p.m., with a prayer service in the funeral home at 8:45 p.m. Words of comfort may be forwarded to his family at www.jmjobesfuneralhome.com
