Carl Elmer Dickson, beloved husband of Shirley (Pharoah), passed away after a long and happy life of 85 years at Vernon Jubilee Hospital on May 24, 2019. Born near Vineland, Ontario, to Clifford and Orpha (Fretz) Dickson, Carl grew up to marry his high school sweetheart in 1955 at St. John’s in Jordan, Ontario. He is survived by his loving wife Shirley, sisters Hazel, Nola and Norma, sons Leslie (Ellen), Murray (Celine), and Craig, grandchildren Sherry and family, Meaghan and family, Danielle (and Grandson Ben who waits for him in heaven), great-grandchildren Alexis, Scarlett, and Raven. Carl lived and worked in and around St. Catharines Ontario as a maintenance electrician for 20 years until he realized his dream of flying for a living. His best saying was, “I can’t believe they pay me for doing this.” Mom and Dad moved to Edmonton and Saskatoon following this dream finally retiring to Parker Cove in 1998 and then to Vernon a couple years ago. He is remembered with great love and admiration. He will be missed.
Nos plus sincères sympathies à la famille et aux amis de Carl Elmer Dickson May 24th 2019..
