With saddened hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Benito on May 3, 2019 at the Clarion Nursing Home, at the age of 83 years.
Beloved husband of 54 years to Maria.
Loving father to Flavio (Denise), Vanda (Angelo) and Maurizio (Angela).
Cherished Nonno to Matthew, Carley, Jesse and Damon.
Benito is predeceased by nine siblings and is survived by three sisters, Rosa Bilanzola, Adela De Vincentis and Giovina Gargarella. Also predeceased by his parents Carmine & Camilla. He will also be deeply missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends in Italy and Canada. Family extend a special thanks to the staff at the Clarion Nursing Home for their Death: May 3, 2019 care and compassion.
Visitation will be held at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton Street E., on Monday from 2 – 4 p.m. and 6 – 8 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Anthony of Padua Church on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at 11 a.m.
Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
A donation to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
