HOMEM, Ana;
February 2, 1924 – May 23, 2019.
Passed away at Freeport Hospital on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at the age of 95. Wife of the late Joao (2004). Loving mother of Maria (Manuel) Silveira, Margarida (Mateus) Fontes, and the late Conceicao Homem, and Joao Manuel Homem. Cherished grandmother of Helena (Manuel) Maciel, Michael (Annette) Fontes, Jorge (Mary) Silveira, and Sandy (John) Fonseca. Dear vavo velhinha, of Briana( Dan), Justin, Haly, Avery, Brooklyn, Megan, Victoria, Julia, Jesse, and Mackenzie. Ana is predeceased by 9 siblings. The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Parish Prayers will be said at the Funeral Home on Sunday at 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, May 27, 2019 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 300 Simeon St., Kitchener. Entombment to follow at Woodland Cemetery. As expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Alzheimer Society of Waterloo Wellington.
