FOGEL, Isidore – Peacefully, on Monday, May 27, 2019, in his one hundred and first year. Beloved husband of the late Doris Rabinovitch. Adored father and father-in-law of Dr. Ronald Fogel and Carol Weintraub Fogel, Terry and Lorne Lipkus, Dr. Gordon and Naomi Fogel. Loving grandfather of Jeremy and Dr. Naomi Fogel, Sarina and Robbie Gerson; Nathaniel Lipkus and Dr. Amanda Steiman, David and Cali Lipkus, Dr. Marc Lipkus and Dr. Amanda D’Aurelio, and Rebecca Lipkus; Elana, Daniel, and David Fogel. Proud great-grandfather of Zachary, Molly, and Eli; Max, Cobi, and Sadie; Oscar, Rosalie, and Matilda; Carter, and Dana. Predeceased by his siblings and their spouses, Bella and Ben Sadavoy, Jack and Bobbie Fogel; and by Doris’s siblings and their spouses, Willie and Faigie Rabinovitch and Bessie Rabinovitch, Rose and Harry Covin, Lily and Harry Bloom. He will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Special thanks to Isidore’s angels, Carole, Bhagwattie and Marilyn for their devotion and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday, May 29 at 12:00 noon. Burial at the Shaare Zedek Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield. Shiva in Montreal at Crowne Plaza Hotel, Wednesday following burial and Thursday. Terry continuing shiva in Toronto, Ronald continuing shiva in Detroit and Gordon continuing shiva in Ottawa.
