We mournfully announce the death of:
William Leonard Grant (Bill), age 67, Died April 4th2019 at his home in Niton Junction Alberta. After a 2 year off and on battle with lymphnode cancer he decided to end the fight and ease his pain.
Bill Grant was born on June 22 , 1951 in Glace Bay , Cape Breton Nova Scotia. He Leaves behind His loving wife Gail (Niton) and step daughters Jennifer Elliot , Kimberley Kimmel and Nicole Belcourt all of Grande Prairie AB. As well as siblings Laura Edwards and Donna Grant of Nova Scotia, Keith Grant of Ontario and Jackie Grant of Ontario. Predeceased by older Brother Donald Jr. and his Mother and Father Jean and Donald Grant of New Brunswick. He also had two children of his own from a previous marriage, Megan and Alex. Bill’s main interests were in music and festivals, he also loved his pets and had a great taste for cooking new things. Bill was quite the jokester and was always singing and poking fun at people. He will be missed dearly by all who knew him family and friends especialy.
A small celebration of life will be held during the summer of 2019 in honor of Bill. Details will be available at a later date for anyone who is interested.
