Tristen always had a glint in his eyes and a smile. He was a positive man and like to be a comedian. He would often change his voice and tease his younger brother by calling him « noosim » which means grandson. Tristen believed in the trust of humanity, the basic right to live, to be kind and loving, to help when needed, to not be afraid to take a risk, and to help a stranger. Tristen enjoyed soccer, learning to cook, shopping (especially Gucci, Louise Vuitton), he had style. He also enjoyed traditional teachings, like picking sweetgrass with his kokum, Mavis. He loved hearing his Mosum Edward’s stories of life overseas. He was full of life and enjoyed living each day, helping anyone who needed him. TTG was his ‘gangster name’ and thats what he preferred when he would write his rap music. His kokum called him her executive because he was so orderly and proper, knowing how to handle his business.
