QUAIL, Patricia (née McGillis) – Mrs. Patricia Quail of Monkland passed away peacefully at home, with her family by her side on Friday, April 5, 2019 at the age of 85 years. Beloved wife of the late Howard Quail. Loved mother of Margaret Cotnam (late Ron), Shannon Blanchard (Paul), Norah Kupczyk (Chris), Patricia McRae and Howard (Conny). She will be sadly missed by her 18 grandchildren: Erin (Adrian), Jennifer, Kathryn (Ian), Lauren, Natalie (James), Eric, John, Thomas, Maggie, Caroline, Gavin, Isaac, Logan, Lucas, Emily, Kylie, Silas and Lydia; and 3 great-grandchildren: Charlotte, Elizabeth and Emerson. Loved daughter of the late Bernard and Hilda (née Tierney) McGillis. Dear sister of Katherine McKennirey (late James) and Maureen McGillis (Joseph). Predeceased by her siblings Eileen Besserer (Colin) and Hugh McGillis (Joan). Lovingly remembered by her sister-in-law Muriel O’Brien and many nieces and nephews. Patricia, a lifelong teacher, was a woman of deep faith, who made everyone feel at home. Resting at the Wilson Funeral Home 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall where visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 10 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM and Thursday 9-10:15 AM. The Mass of the Resurrection with Commendation and Farewell will be celebrated in St. Anthony`s Roman Catholic Church, Apple Hill on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at 11:30 AM. Rite of Committal at a later date in St. Anthony`s Parish Cemetery. If so desired, contributions in her memory to St. Anthony’s Parish, or Our Lady’s Missionaries would be appreciated by the family.
