It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Norma Jean Spence on April 20, 2019 in Portage La Prairie, Manitoba at the age of 52 years.
She was born on October 2, 1966 in Gladstone, Manitoba to Theresa Spence and Melvin Francis.
Norma was predeceased by her parents Theresa Spence and Melvin Francis; brother, Gordon Spence; son, Ashley Sutherland-Spence; son-in-law Joel McIvor Sr.; and grandson, Jonathan Spence Jr
Norma was a strong and caring woman; she loved spending time and taking care of her grandchildren. She was always happy to have the whole family come for visits.
She also enjoyed going to slots and bingo. Her favorite shows to watch were shows about carpentry and also The Big Bang Theory. She liked playing games on her tablet; her favorite game was Diamond Diaries Saga.
She was our strength; she held all of our family together. She will always be a huge part of us. She is gone, but will never be forgotten. She will be missed so very much.❤
Norma leaves to mourn her husband Ronald Sutherland; daughters, Sara and Lydia (Mark Sr.); sons, Roger (Sam), Devon (Tanya) and Jonathon (Farrah); granddaughters, Dorothy, Paris, Tyra, Hailey, Keylia, Kiesha, Kimmi, Sariah, and Mya-Lee; grandsons, Blake, Joel Jr., Preston, Noah, Kiefer Jr., Devon Jr., Roger Jr., Mark Richard Jr., Kaylum, Ethan, and Jonathon Jr.
As well as her siblings; Betty-Anne (Charles), Marilyn (Clarence Sr.), Daniel (Lisa), Barbara, and Alex (Charmaine) and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and close friends.
